What is Corporate Housing?

Corporate Housing is a preferred, cost-effective alternative to staying in a hotel.  Murphy’s Corporate Lodging provides luxury one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes which are fully furnished with everything you will need to make your temporary housing feel just like home.

Who uses Corporate Housing?

Murphy’s Corporate Lodging provides fully furnished luxury apartments for temporary and relocating business travelers. We provide accommodations for business professionals, consultants, and project managers on short term assignments away from home.  We assist large and small corporations with housing for relocating employees or employees on temporary project assignments.  We also assist medical personnel on internships as well as medical patients and their families.


Questions about Murphy’s apartments

Is there housekeeping available?

Yes.  Housekeeping is provided every other week.  Daily and weekly housekeeping can be arranged as needed for an additional charge.

Are laundry facilities available?

All of our apartments include washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board.  Some of our properties offer dry cleaning pick up and delivery services.

What is the Murphy’s Guarantee?

If you are not completely satisfied with your furnished apartment, we will be happy to move you to any other available apartment.  Just inform us of your concern within twenty-four (24) hours of moving in and we will correct the situation.

What size apartments do you have available?

We offer multiple size floor plans for one, two and three bedroom apartments.  The square footage of our one bedrooms range from 650 to 1100 square feet, two bedroom 850 to 1300 square feet and three bedrooms 1200 to 1500 square feet.  If you have a special request or a question about which size apartments are available in a specific location, please contact us.

Where are Murphy’s apartments located?

Our apartments are in high-end, gated apartment communities located in desirable areas, convenient to businesses, shopping and entertainment.  Depending on your needs, we can offer locations close to your work or with easy access to public transportation.

What does a Murphy’s corporate apartment offer that a hotel cannot?

Compared to hotels, Murphy’s corporate apartments offer more space and comfort and feature amentities not found in hotels such as a fully-equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer. Complimentary WiFi is a standard, as in cable television – these are often cost options at hotels.

What is included in a Murphy’s Apartment?

Murphy’s Corporate Lodging furnishes every apartment with all items needed for a comfortable stay.  Our apartments include furniture, housewares, linens, home electronics, and decorative items.  A 42 inch flat screen TV and DVD player are standard in all of our Houston apartments.  Utilities, local telephone service, internet and cable are provided and included in the rental price.  Housekeeping is also included.


Questions about Murphy’s policies

Can I bring my pet?

Yes.  Murphy’s Corporate Lodging works with pet friendly properties in almost all cities we service, however there are some weight and breed restrictions depending on the location.  Refundable and non-refundable pet deposits are required.  Please contact us for information.

Is there a minimum stay?

We accommodate guests for nightly, weekly or longer.  Stays less than 30 nights are based on availability.


Questions about billing and payment

How am I billed?

You will receive a monthly invoice for the  upcoming rent plus any additional charges for the past month such as electrical overages.  If you choose to pay by credit card, your account will automatically be charged at the beginning of every month and you will recieve an invoice showing the specific charges.

Can you bill my company or take my credit card?

Yes, we can do either.  Many of our guests have their monthly bills sent directly to their company.  In order to do this, we will ask you to have your company complete a business credit application. If you would like to use your credit card, we will require that you complete an authorization form.


Questions about moving in and moving out

How do I check-in or locate my apartment?

We make your check-in as easy as possible.  Your Murphy’s Account Representative will supply you with all the details and instructions for locating your apartment prior to your arrival date.  We will also send you a copy of the apartment community site map to help you find the exact location of your apartment.  A lock box will be left on the apartment door in case you arrive after business hours.  We do everything possible to ensure you have a smooth check-in to your corporate apartment.

What time is check out?

Check out is noon on all stays less than 30 days.  If your reservation is for 30 days or longer you will have until midnight on the last day of your stay for checking out of your apartment.

How can I make a reservation or request a quote?

You may contact us by telephone or simply complete our convenient online request form and we will promptly respond to you.

What time is check in?

Our check in time is 2:00 pm.
