Corporate Housing San Antonio: Locations

San Antonio is famous for The Alamo, the single most popular tourist attraction in Texas. Yet despite this rich history, and western Texas cowboy charm, the city’s cultural and entertainment attractions go far deeper.  Infused with a kaleidoscope of other cultural influences, along with a layer of contemporary flair, there is no other city that blends such strong Mexican, German, French and Native American influences.  Each year, San Antonio highlights those cultural influences with colorful street festivals, performing arts and museums.

Things To Do & See In San Antonio

Running through downtown San Antonio is the Riverwalk, a 15-miles stretch that sits lower than the city’s streets. It’s one of the most iconic and successful urban walking areas in the world, and the city regularly invests in it. It’s been expanded several times, and it’s easy to see many of the city’s primary attractions without traveling too far away from it. San Antonio may be the most walkable city in Texas. It’s even better during the holidays, when the Riverwalk is adorned with festive lighting and a powerful holiday spirit.

History buffs will find a lot to appreciate at San Antonio’s missions, five of which are named UNESCO World Heritage sites. There’s an artistic heartbeat to San Antonio, too, as the city was the first to build a modern art museum. In addition to a few other major art museums, like the San Antonio Museum of Art and the Blue Star Contemporary art center, there is an impressive array of offbeat museums. They include the DoSeum, which offers physical and educational exhibits for kids, and the Buckhorn Museum, which emphasizes all things cowboy.

Performing arts are a San Antonio staple as well, and downtown is home to the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. The Tobin Center is the primary facility for the San Antonio Symphony, Ballet San Antonio and Opera San Antonio, as well as a host of community performing arts. San Antonio also has the AT&T Center, which is the home of the San Antonio Spurs, but also hosts a major livestock show and rodeo, as well as numerous cultural events.

San Antonio also has Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld and the popular San Antonio Zoo. The city is also home to Morgan’s Wonderland, a first-of-its-kind park designed for guests with special needs or disabilities.

Although San Antonio has attracted professionals in many industries, including military, medical, aerospace and technology, it’s the city’s cultural, artistic and fun-loving nature that has convinced people to stay.
